North Fork of the Blackfoot River

Looks like I forgot to post these pictures earlier this summer so this is a catch up.  One of our favorite places to hike in to is the North Fork of the Blackfoot River.  It is quite a hike down to the water but once you get there it is so worth it.  The water is crystal clear but ohhhh so cold; it is glacier fed from the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Adam must have been the designated photographer because I don't seem to have any pictures of him from this trip.  : (

Hayden found my Camelback water on this trip and liked to hang on tight.  Momma was a little thirsty by the time we got back to the car.

In 1988 a forest fire burned this entire area (same year as the legendary Yellowstone fires) so it looks a lot like Yellowstone in some areas.

Ahhh yes, the tongue.  I thought I had a couple years before I had to deal with him sticking out his tongue?

Fun with Grammie & Grandpa

This August Hayden & I met my parents in Kalispell, MT for a week of fun.  It was quite obvious when we arrived that Hayden would not be lacking in attention.  My mom met us in the driveway and proceeded to try and get Hayden out of his carseat without even loosening the straps.  I think she was excited to see her "little guy" again.

Hayden & Grandpa practicing for football season.  Go Rebs!

All the fun makes for a tired little teddy bear.

 Bad hair day.
